That sounds like a perfect plan. If you burn it down after you disk it for the last time, and then plant without working the soil again, I think you should be fine. I wouldn't expect any competition arising. Besides, with those two blends there's really nothing you can treat them with that wouldn't also kill one of the desired plants in the blend.

After the second burn I will not touch the soil again but will cultipack the seed before a good rain. Once again thanks for all the great information and I hope this is a great season for my plots.

When you guys say "burn" are you referring to an actual controlled burn (flame) or just using Round-up?
